What we stand behind, in plain language
Manufacturer coverage on materials, and our own workmanship guarantee on the installation itself.
Materials and workmanship
There are two separate things covered when you buy a gate system, and it is worth understanding the difference — particularly on an automated gate, where the operator carries its own manufacturer terms.
Manufacturer material warranty
The material itself carries the manufacturer’s warranty. Vinyl and aluminium products typically carry long-term coverage against defects such as cracking, peeling, or excessive fading. Wood is a natural product, so it is warranted differently — grain, colour variation, and gradual weathering are characteristics rather than defects. We will tell you exactly what the manufacturer covers for the product you choose, before you buy it.
Our workmanship guarantee
The installation is on us. If a post we set moves, a gate we hung sags, or a panel we fitted comes loose because of how it was installed, we come back and put it right. That is the part that is genuinely within our control, and it is the part most customers are actually worried about.
What is not covered
Storm damage, vehicle impact, vandalism, ground movement from third-party excavation, and damage from alterations made by others fall outside both warranties. Most of these are insurance matters, and we are happy to quote the repair.
